UFPB and ITA will hold Live - Technological Innovation in Health

The Dean of Graduate Studies (PRPG) of the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) in partnership with the Graduate Program in Development and Environment of the Center for Exact and Nature Sciences (CCEN) and with the   Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronautics (ITA)  , will perform the live broadcast "Technological Innovation in Health" on August 14 at 7:00 pm.

This live broadcast aims to present the project "Development of equipment for monitoring the presence of SARS-CoV-2 in the air", carried out by the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA) and financed by the Public Ministry of Labor. The research is coordinated by Professor Priscila Correia Fernandes, PhD in Functional and Molecular Biology by the State University of Campinas and associate professor at ITA.

The project “Integrated system for the control of epidemics and endemic diseases using artificial intelligence techniques applied to the analysis of georeferenced medical data and viral dispersion” will also be presented, funded by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). 

This project is coordinated by Prof. Edson Ramos de Andrade, PhD in Toxicological Biochemistry (Radiobiology) from the Federal University of Santa Maria - UFSM with a sandwich period at the Universidad de León (Spain) and visiting professor at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB).
